Mrs. Sublett was selected as
the "Alabama Special Education Teacher of the Year" in 1999. This is a
real honor and has never happened to a teacher before at Moody Jr. High
School. She was selected as the "St. Clair County Teacher of the
Year" for the School Year 2005-2006. We are very proud to have Mrs.
Sublett as a teacher here at MJHS. She attended Auburn University and
the University of Alabama.
She has her B.S. and Master's degrees. Mrs. Sublett has
also taught at Huffman Elementary and John S. Jones. She enjoys reading
detective mysteries and collecting Hallmark ornaments. She loves working
with kids who need her help.
Mrs. Sublett's favorite ice cream is a classic banana
split. She has a cat named Sasha. Her favorite TV show is "N.C.I.S".
Mrs. Sublett enjoys the sound of Christian music. Her favorite color is
blue. Mrs. Sublett is married to her husband, Bill.
Mrs. Sublett is a member of the popular local singing
group, "The Leading Ladies". She sings with them at various community
events around Moody and Leeds. She is a member of the Moody Methodist
Church and sings in the choir. She has a wonderful voice and is asked to
sing at many weddings and other local events.
